Kids for Christ aims to help children discover and have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. It is a Sunday School programme catering to children from ages 7-12. Children are taught through a variety of activities including Bible stories, Object Lessons that impart values using everyday materials, and personal follow-up sessions.
We have approximately 15 children in the Little Lambs ministry. They are between 2 to 5 years old and 3 teams of dedicated teachers rotate to teach them every 3 months.
It is a privilege to serve in this ministry and the little ones bring great joy to the teachers. They are very observant and eager to learn. It is also encouraging for the teachers to receive positive feedback from parents as they see their children put into practice what has been taught in the classes.
Please continue to pray that these little ones will grow in their faith as they know more about God each week. May each one be a blessing to their families and to the church community.
After months of planning, the evangelistic children's club catering to children in kindergarten and primary school kicked off in 2003. The commitment was to bring the good news of Jesus through games, songs, Bible stories, object lessons and other activities.
The children are taught a memory verse each week and a key point that helps them to apply the verse in their daily lives. There is also a reward system where they receive colourful stamps for good conduct and for successfully reciting the previous week's memory verse and key point. At the end of each month, these colourful stamps can be used to exchange for gifts.
The club meets every Sunday in church from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. In addition, there are also occasional outings and twice-a-year holiday enrichment programmes
In short, the Loving JOY club is all about Loving Jesus first, Others second and then Yourself.
It is the tuition club for the community targeted at primary school students. Members of this club meets from 1:30pm - 3:30pm every Sunday and thereafter attends Loving Joy. Do join us for a time of wonderful learning!
